Rebate Program Management

Builder Sourcing will benchmark your current manufacturer rebate and incentive programs, provide an estimate of the best programs available in a given category, and assist in the achievement of those levels. We have a preferred group of suppliers that gives us an ability to deliver results in a very short time frame. We have increased the value our builders receive from these programs by as much as 4x their initial levels.

As part of this program, we handle all of the paperwork associated with the billing, collecting and reconciling your rebate programs. We have increased the money realized from these programs by 20% or more from cost effective tracking and monitoring of compliance in these programs against company guidelines and aggressive billing and collection of all monies due.

Cost Benchmarking

Builder Sourcing has learned from experience that information, when broken down to the elements of cost, can be easily compared across house plans, divisions and companies. We have gone well past comparing cost on a $/square foot basis to looking at the drivers of cost for each of the major trades and have developed models to allow for the prediction of cost based on what should be paid. We have been able to utilize this information to significantly lower costs.

Setting a goal of savings per house can be a good way to achieve cost reductions. At the same time, capabilities can be built to allow for on-going cost management. Builder Sourcing can look at the categories of cost by trade type across all plans and communities. We will uncover current costs, variations in cost and will identify areas of opportunity to lower cost. We will benchmark those costs not only internally comparing various house plans and communities, but also externally against current market pricing. Our approach is to also help to move from a bid mentality by house plan, by trade, by community to a price setting mentality by trade across all house plans and communities. The result is a better understanding of costs and what drives them and a significant reduction in the effort required to manage costs on an on-going basis.

Builder Sourcing Risk™

The Builder Sourcing Risk™ division works with builders to understand and lower the risk and cost of insurance for builder’s risk and product liability. Our builders have been able to improve coverage and lower cost from $1,000’s to over $100,000 annually. We have also lowered the cost of healthcare for our builders that cover 20 employees or more by as much as 20%.
